Trauma-informed therapy rooted in curiosity, context, and change—

a compassionate, collaborative space to explore your emotional world, process relational dynamics, and move toward meaningful, lasting change

About Me

I offer therapy that is thoughtful, engaged, and grounded in the belief that your struggles do not exist in a vacuum. Emotional pain is shaped not only by personal history, but also by the systems, relationships, and environments we move through every day.

My work is rooted in a critical, anti-capitalist, and decolonizing lens toward mental health. That means I pay attention to how systems of oppression—including capitalism, colonialism, racism, and other forms of structural harm—shape emotional life. Rather than locating problems solely within the individual, I work with clients to understand their experiences in context, honor the ways they have survived, and challenge narratives that pathologize adaptation.

I see therapy as a collaborative space for curiosity, honesty, and transformation. Together, we can explore what feels stuck, disconnected, painful, or confusing—and begin making room for something different.

What I Help With

Sunlight streaming through a large wooden-framed window with sheer curtains, illuminating a cozy interior with pillows on a window seat.

I work with clients navigating a range of concerns, including:

  • Trauma and complex trauma

  • Feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed

  • Anxiety and chronic stress

  • Shame and self-criticism

  • Relationship patterns and attachment wounds

  • Identity exploration

  • Life transitions

  • Burnout, grief, and emotional exhaustion

I specialize in trauma-focused therapy that supports a greater sense of safety, relief, and reconnection. Trauma can leave you feeling fragmented, hypervigilant, numb, or uncertain of yourself. Healing is possible, and it does not have to happen all at once. We will move at a pace that feels grounded and workable for you.

My Approach

A field of wildflowers during sunset with yellow flowers and tall grasses, softly lit with warm sunlight.

I approach therapy as a collaborative and creative process. I am interested in helping you understand not just what is happening, but why—and how the patterns you’ve developed may have once helped you survive, even if they no longer serve you in the same way.

My therapy style is

Non-pathologizing
I do not view you as a problem to be fixed. I work from the belief that many symptoms make sense in context.

Curious and direct
I bring care, honesty, and thoughtful reflection into the room. Therapy can hold both gentleness and challenge.

Trauma-informed
I recognize the many ways trauma can shape the nervous system, relationships, identity, and sense of safety.

Context-aware
I consider the impact of family systems, culture, oppression, and structural conditions on emotional wellbeing.

Relational and creative
I value authenticity, insight, and flexibility in the therapeutic process. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all.

Specialized Support for Marginalized Communities

I work especially with trauma, including complex and relational trauma, as well as with clients whose identities, relationships, and lived realities are often misunderstood or pathologized within traditional systems of care. My work is grounded in affirmation, respect, and an understanding that healing is shaped not only by personal history, but also by the social and relational contexts in which we live.

I strive to create a therapeutic space that is thoughtful, nonjudgmental, and attuned to complexity—one in which you can bring the fullness of your experience without needing to minimize, justify, or translate who you are.

Specialized, affirming support includes work with:

  • Queer clients

  • Trans clients

  • Clients practicing ethical non-monogamy

  • Kinky clients

  • Sex workers

Getting Started

Beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, and finding the right fit matters. I offer a consultation so we can talk briefly about what brings you in, what you’re looking for, and whether working together feels like a good match.

If we decide to move forward, therapy becomes a space to explore what you’re carrying, deepen insight, and support meaningful change over time.

Start your journey today.

If you’d like to schedule a consultation or ask about working together, I’d be glad to hear from you.
